Buddha Bar St. Thomas

An extraordinary new concept offering the best of contemporary Japanese cuisine and Sushi in an exciting, yet intimate setting. The architecture and decor is a well balanced blend of beautiful arches and pagodas with bright vibrant colors. The building itself has been a landmark for many years. It was built 20 years ago and was the best restaurant for fresh local fish. The owners name was Daddy and still to this day many locals refer to the original name, "Daddies" Today we carry on that legacy with the freshest and best quality fish the island has to offer.

Our dining area offers seating for couples and large parties. Entering the restaurant through one of our many pagodas you'll see Buddha looking back at you. Along with the finest in sushi there is also many prepared appetizers and cooked entrees from the kitchen. You'll find some traditional, Pork and shrimp shumai, Vegetable tempura and the house favorite, Togarashi spiced fried calamari.

Join us at the sushi bar/lounge where you can watch the masters at work. They will prepare the art of sushi right in front of you. With their precise cuts of fish and the maticulous prepared rolls.

Our full service bar offers a wide variety of wines, cordials, japanese beer & great Japanese sake. Feel free to hang out at the bar before your dinner or join us there for an after dinner drink. You can also eat at the bar if you like or come here to pick up an order of sushi to go.
